Craig and I rode the San Bernardino start of the Santa Ana River Trail today. We had a good ride, but slow. Doing ebay business (we bought a compressor and vacuum for the new office), taking phone calls and Craig's flat slowed our average speed waaayyy down. Still a good ride, got 34 miles in today.

Well I've been sticking to my training plan pretty well this week, hey it's Tuesday and I did Monday and Tuesday's workouts. Tomorrow my workout is: 1/2 hour swim, 40 minute run and one hour bike. Hmm that seems like a sprint tri to me. Anyone interested in a homemade sprint tri? Ok, meet me at the LA Fitness pool at 4:30 am, we'll hit the treadmills at 5:00 and spin class at 5:45. Sprint tri done by 6:45.

Trying to stick to the training plan. Saturday's two hour run was only 1 1/2, trying to keep my heart rate down made the run very, very slow, even for the slow turtle. Lisa called me and said Redlands is starting a new triathlon club, first meeting is tomorrow night so we're going to go check it out.

Training plan on, so far so good, today I went to the gym in the morning, just couldn't run on the treadmill so I walked 45 minutes. Went back tonight with determination, it is too early to start cheating on my training plan! Ran 90 minutes, rode stationary bike 30 minutes.

Enjoy! I love this picture, such calm on the Snake River as the sun rises, and in less than an hour the river goes crazy with about 1600 swimmers. Sunday is my rest day, logically it should be on another day, but this is the day we worship, rest and enjoy family.

After Christmas training began yesterday, 2 mile treadmill run and 20 mile chill, chat ride with Julia and Cindy.
Today: Crossfit WOD (could only do 2 sets)
90 minute swim workout.
