Push Jerks

 It snowed last night so I almost didn't go, apparently a lot of other people felt the same way, I ended up with a private lesson!  Push jerks got much better, I think I recorded I got to a heavy 3 of 55, adding wrong again--50.  The workout was a set of 21-15-9-6  row 21 calories, 21 push jerks, etc.

Wall Balls---

30 Deadlifts, went to 65 today, took it down to 45 for the workout

40 Wall Balls, there's just nothing nice to say about wall balls!

Jackpot


 Two rounds plus start of the third on the bike, the bike is my nemesis, but on a positive note my watts are up and it should help on my mountain bike.  Speaking of which, it's such a gorgeous day, they are coming back out, even though there is snow in the forecast for Monday.

Yep, it got cancelled again, our entry is rolled over one more time.  Cleve says he's still in, three years training time should make for some good results!

Bergeron Beep Test

 Probably the beep should be replaced with a vile swear word.  According to our coach it is also know as the "you suck test".  Sometimes I think I only post my scores to make others feel really, really good about their workouts.  Quite altruistic of me!  0 rounds, which then turns it into an AMRAP--6 rounds scaled.

Bench Press

 Yay! I like bench presses.  Followed with 5K on the assault bike, it took me 11 minutes, uggh, but I didn't quit.  I'm not sure why I dislike the bike so much since I enjoy riding, it's just a different beast, that's for sure.

Deadlifts and Bar Facing Burpees

Whew, happy for the 10 minute time cap, I almost finished the first 10 rounds, I didn't quite hit the descending. 45 lbs on the deadlifts, I'll add more next time.

Overhead squats

 Part 1:  Build to a heavy set of ten.  I did 25, and backed it off to 20 for my heavy set, I was worried about my back but it's actually doing pretty good.

Part 2:  AMRAP 2-2-2-3

2 Rope climbs (or 6 butt ups!), 9 calorie bike, max overhead squats.

Good work out today.

A little break from CrossFit



 Brad gave us Brian Head lift tickets for Christmas so we skied Brian Head on Thursday, it was the most gorgeous blue bird day.  Thank you Brad!!!!  It was really fun.

Thursday night I rolled the 850, I was trying to get from the meadow to the trail with the trailer on the back, I almost made it but near the top I just couldn't push it up, and started to curve back down, I was standing on the high side thinking I could pull it out, but no. Luckily I'm ok, just a little back pain, I landed across the running boards.  The 850 is fine, but it came up out of the powder with no windshield, I dug everywhere but couldn't find it.

Brian and Sarah and family and Kyle and Rachel met us and we had a great weekend of fun riding.  Maddie continues to command the machines and took over the 440, and had speed lessons from Uncle Kyle.  Katie finally decided she was going to ride and conquered her (well founded) fear and ran the Sno Sports eight times ("because I'm 8") around the turnaround.

Back to CrossFit this morning, wondering if my back would be ok, it really didn't hurt anymore than it does anyway.

                                                              

This was today, broken into 10 set, I got through 8 and almost had 9.
