These are my easy brick runs, I couldn't believe how fast tonight's was compared to my last one, darn I just realized I didn't turn my watch off until after I started driving home.
And my riding just keeps getting worse, what is the deal, please send my training partner out, that's what I need.

Easy Run

Tonight I did an easy run, staying in Zone 2 with a 10 minute run, 1 minute walk.  It was actually harder to do this run and keep my heart rate down than it was to do my last run with 10 minute interval sets.  Hard to believe that I'm "highly improving" as my Garmin data says, but I'll just have to take the experts word for it.

I was pretty happy about improving my TT's on the run and swim, I'm not sure what happened on the bike.  Since the bike is the bulk of my day I know I have to put a lot more effort into it.  It was hotter, 88 when I started which may have played some role, also my heart rate was lower, is that good or contributing to not so good?  I'm not sure.  My cadence was also better------trying to find the positive :)

Swim TT # 2


DONE!  I'm pretty excited I took 1:47 off of my 800m swim.  Tonight is my 5K TT, I'm not so sure about run improvement but we'll see.  I like this training plan, it's fun to track improvement as opposed to just logging miles.
